$ 98.00

For those returning in "Hybrid", Online, and "In-Person at a Distance" environments: New Dates!

Six, weekly hour and a half online sessions Wednesday afternoons 3:30-5:00 Central Time, 4:30-6:00 Eastern Time • This Cohort Session runs September 16th through October 21 (with a break - no class - October 7th). Nine professional development hours available. Tuition includes your choice of one of Jen's books or teaching tools.  Limited to 20 participants.

During these unprecedented times, educators are working hard to adapt and innovate in hybrid, physically distant, and remote learning environments. Support, co-creative problem-solving, and collaboration with other educators is needed now more than ever before. In response, Jen Stanchfield has adapted her Inspired Educator, Engaged Learner workshop into an online professional development series offering educators a combination of practical tools and techniques, mentoring, and moral support.

Join this dynamic program and fill your toolbox with experiential, brain-based methods to inspire, motivate, and increase meaningful social-emotional learning and academic engagement. Build a positive and supportive culture for students as we begin the 2020-21 school year in this challenging new teaching and learning environment.

This workshop offers:

  • Engaging community building, connection, dialogue, and reflection activities designed to enhance academic and social-emotional learning and promote student buy-in, voice, and choice
  • Facilitated time to connect, collaborate and problem-solve with other educators who are facing similar challenges and successes
  • A collaborative exploration of experiential, brain-based methods to teach, practice, and assess academics in a trauma-informed and equitable way while cultivating communication, collaboration, problem-solving, self and social awareness, and reflection
  • Exploration role of the educator as guide, and the importance of flexibility, attitude, adaptation, and awareness of group and individual needs and differences

Enliven hybrid, remote, and physically distant academic and social-emotional content delivery and assessment with active, student-centered participation techniques to enhance involvement and retention for learners of all ages. Gain practical methods, creative inspiration, positive connections, networking, and support from teaching peers from across the country.

The workshop includes a choice of one of Jen's books or facilitation tools. In order to encourage collaborative learning and community building, each series/cohort group's capacity is 20 participants. Dates for a second September cohort session TBD. Please email jen@experientialtools.com. with dates request.

*Note: In this fluid environment, this workshop focus could shift to a more remote learning focus if the landscape shifts to all remote learning. The participant-centered format of the session will allow us to adjust to the changing needs of attendees.

The workshop can also be customized for existing educator groups or school-wide faculty teambuilding and professional development.

"I loved how engaging and interactive this session was. I think all of the activities can be used with our students, even if we are continuing social distancing in the fall." Music City SEL Online Conference Participant

        "Great info. Also, the breakout rooms were structured enough to not be awkward. The introverts thank you...

I LOVE the ways we were able to interact with each other (even virtually). These are always my favorite workshops to attend!!
