Inspiration, Collaboration, Practical Engagement and Reflection Techniques, Co-Creative Problem Solving and Support
Throughout the past year, Jen Stanchfield has been offering ongoing series of co-creative "Inspiration and Support" sessions to help educators, facilitators and counselors adapt experiential techniques to enhance remote meetings and create engaging, welcoming, and productive learning environments. As the need for innovative engagement strategies both online and in-person continues, there is a valuable opportunity for collaborative problem-solving, mentoring, inspiration and support from peers in the field.
Based on popular demand, we've added a Spring session. This time the format is a four week series for two hours each Tuesday.
Four, weekly online sessions Tuesday afternoons 4:30-6:30pm Eastern Time • May 4th-May 25th. Eight professional development hours available. Tuition includes your choice of one of Jen's books or teaching tools. Limited to 20 participants.
This dynamic online professional development series offers a combination of practical tools and techniques, mentoring, and moral support. Join in and fill your toolbox with interactive brain-based techniques to inspire, motivate, and promote engagement, buy-in, meaningful reflection and dialogue in remote, hybrid, and in-person teaching and facilitation. Build a positive and supportive culture for learners as we continue to adapt to the challenges and opportunities of our new teaching, facilitation, and learning environment.
This workshop offers:
- Engaging community building, connection, dialogue, and reflection activities designed to enhance academic, training, group development, and social-emotional learning and promote learner buy-in, voice, and choice
- Facilitated time to connect, collaborate and problem-solve with other educators who are facing similar challenges and successes
- A collaborative exploration of experiential, brain-based methods to teach, practice, and assess academics and training content in a trauma-informed and equitable way while cultivating communication, collaboration, problem-solving, self and social awareness, and reflection
- Ways to thoughtfully design and sequence remote and hybrid learning experiences to increase engagement, meet specific therapeutic, training, and group development goals
- Innovative reflection tools and techniques to increase relevancy, meaning, depth of understanding, and connection to future learning situations
- Exploration role of the educator/facilitator as guide, and the importance of flexibility, attitude, adaptation, and awareness of group and individual needs and differences
Enliven hybrid, remote, and physically distant academic, training, and social-emotional content delivery and assessment with active, learner-centered engagement techniques to enhance involvement, reflection and retention for participants of all ages. Gain practical methods, creative inspiration, positive connections, networking, and support from peers from across the globe.Join this dynamic session and take away both practical methods, new professional relationships with peers in the field, and a deeper understanding of the "why behind what you do" in teaching and group facilitation.
